Furness...

League Underway...

The league kicked-off on Sunday, but it wasn’t before another team folded in the days leading up to it, as JML Plumbing & Heating FC left the Premier Division with just eight teams, writes Darren “Statto” Jones (statto@cssfl.info, www.cssfl.info).
In the Premier Division, seasoned-campaigner Adam Furness dug Dun Cow out of a hole with a hat-trick in a thrilling 5-4 win over the promoted MKS Carpentry. Also promoted were Broadhall Athletic, who beat new side FC Fourteen 8-3, thanks largely to four from their new striker, "Yaya" Oyejobi.

Results (Sunday 7 September):

Premier Division: Broadhall Athletic 8 FC Fourteen 3, MKS Carpentry 4 Dun Cow 5.
Division One: Aspire Personal Training 2 Almond Tree 1, Broadhall Rovers 5 FC Chequers 0, Leisure Leagues Herts 4 Marquis of Lorne South 2, Pig and Whistle 1 MSC Active 0, Twin Foxes 0 Brackas 11.

Fixtures (Sunday 14 September):

Premier Division: Broadhall Athletic v MBDA (Shephalbury), Lifestyles v Oneness (Knights Templar), Nirankari v FC Fourteen (Alleynes).
Division One: FC Chequers v Pig and Whistle (King George), GJ Auto Broadhall v Brackas (Peartree), Marquis of Lorne South v Royal Oak (King George), MSC Active v Almond Tree (Shephalbury), Twin Foxes v Leisure Leagues Herts (Peartree).
