League players set new World Record

Congratulations to Cambray FC and the Cotswold Churches League All-Stars for setting a new World Record for the longest continuous football match ever.

The 2 squads of 18 players kicked off on Friday 30th April at 6.30pm and played through to 6.30am on the following Sunday - a tremendous achievement in any circumstances but especially in the driving wind and rain of Saturday night/Sunday morning! Well done all - not just the players but all those who organised the event and ensured its smooth running.
