Looking forward to this week's John Old Cup Final being contested by two very good footballing teams. Flixton Athletic playing in their traditional red and black striped shirts, are very fast and young whilst Manni Sports playing in their usual dark grey strip are seasoned and very competitive. This is a very special final as it is being officiated by one of our very efficient up and coming promising young referees who has been rewarded for his performances this season. The man in black George Groves takes charge of the John Old Cup Final assisted by Ben Croucher and Howard Hayton who have both been rewarded with these appointments and Senior Referee Mark Ewbank has been appointed to fourth Official. The Manchester Amateur Sunday Football League Committee wish all three teams good luck.
