The title lies in the hands of Blaby & Whetstone.

The Southern Division is proving to be the closest competition for years with three teams still in the running for places. Only 4 defeats between them indicate how tight it is.

Blaby & Whetstone Youth hold top spot at the moment, with a superior goal difference than Oadby Town Youth, and a game in hand. But, they have to play each other on the 25th April and Blaby & Whetstone have to go to third placed Lutterworth Juniors & Youth on the 2nd May.

The title therefore lies in the hands of Blaby & Whetstone, and they showed they were ready for the challenge by coming away from Harborough Town Youth and St Andrews Youth during this week with 6-1 and 6-0 victories. At the same time Lyndon Seal secured the Golden Boot with a tally to date of 36 goals, and the team broke the 100 goals mark.

Oadby Town not to be outdone kept in the running with 2 victories. A 6-0 victory at Lutterworth Town Youth was followed up by the defeat of Leics Constabulary Youth at home by 3-1. Joe Bishop maintained third spot in the goal charts with 20 goals by adding a brace and close behind him fellow strikers Kieran Linnett and Alistair Ross.

Lutterworth Juniors & Youth were without a match, but find themselves 5 points behind Blaby & Whetstone and also have an inferior goal difference.

Leicester Nirvana Youth with their 3-0 defeat at Barwell Youth gives them the wooden spoon.
