Apologies for the delay, waiting for clubs to confirm goalscorers

FA YOUTH CUP

The Leagues’ two remaining teams in the Competition were both drawn away from home and unfortunately both went out. Harborough Town were defeated 7-1 by Dunkirk with Alfie Harris grabbing Harboroughs’ consolation while Aylestone Park were defeated 2-1 by Long Eaton United with Kaine Duncan scoring.

NORTHERN DIVISION

The two Ashby Ivanhoe teams met and it was the Knights who grabbed the bragging rights with a 2-1 victory. Kai Smalley and George Paintin for the Knights with Cee Jay Zuill for the other Ashby team. Anstey Nomads had a 7-2 away win at Allexton & New Parks Eagles with Finley Jones (3) and braces for Sam Jordan and Szymon Donnerstag with Arvin Odell and Jamie Richardson replying for the Eagles. Coalville Town Ravens hosted Gresley and it was the later who picked up the points in a 3-2 victory. Alex Potts (2) and Aaron Harvey for the Moatmen with Ben Jones and Ollie Yeomans for the Ravens. Desford were on their travels to face Allexton and New Parks Hawks with the Hawks grabbing a 5-3 victory with Orrin Caner Fell (4) and Oliver Cooper scoring. Desfords’ goals all coming from Jack Hilton.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Early pacesetters Allexton & New Parks were held to a 1-1 draw by Carib Sports & Social. Sam Gudgeon for Allexton with Joel Nuamah replying for Carib. Jamie Ward grabbed a hat trick for Lutterworth Athletic as they defeated Friar Lane & Epworth 3-1. Cyrus Thompson with the Lanes’ consolation. Oadby Owls hosted Blaby & Whetstone Athletic and had a comfortable 7-0 victory with Ben Parkinson (3), Dylan Sandhu, Aiden Smillie, Jordan Clarke and Lewis Massey all scoring.
