No fixtures were allocated for this Saturday as it was GFA Senior Amateur and Junior first round Cup matches

Because of some byes and numerous Somerset teams in the League thirteen Leagu games were rearranged and brought forward

In what must be the closest local derby in local football (approximately 100 yards) hosts Broad Plain House edged out Mendip Broadwalk Reserves by the odd goal in three to move into pole position in the Premier Division, Charlie Marsh was on target for Mendip

A 43rd minute goal from Callum Pritchard gave newcomers Brislington A a half time lead over Hengrove Reserves at Norton Lane, two second half goals from substitute Vinny Sweet gave the visitors a 3 1 victory to take them to the top of the Senior Division, Reece Richards replied for the Athletic

Division One leaders Cosmos FC have had a great start to the season winning all three games scoring 20 goals, they travelled to Pen Park to play Southmead CS Athletic Reserves and two goals from Tristan Plummer in the first 16 minutes gave them an early lead, further goals on 33 minutes from John McKay and on 41 minutes from Mo Adam gave them a 4 0 interval lead, Asher Pirie on 57 minutes and Adam with his second on 60 minutes made it 6 0 before Southmead scored a late consolation goal through Riley Perks

Somerset teams lead in three out of the top Divisions with Cutters Friday Reserves travelling to Somerdale to play Old Georgians and returning with all three points courtesy of a 4 1win to maintain their 100% record and opening up a three point lead at the top

Goals from Daniel Edwards, Oliver Louch, Mark Slateford and Jack Szur helped Socius United bounce back from last week's heavy defeat beating St Aldhelns Reserves 4 0 three of the goals coming in the second half

Bradley Mead gave FC Union Bristol a 30th minute lead at the Civil Service Ground against Bristol Phoenix, second half substitute Halim Vladi equalised in the 75th minute

Three teams have a 100% record in Division 3 promoted AC Moose lead following a 4 0 home win over AFC Westerleigh

It was a great day for Cosmos UK as their Reserve side copied their first team with a 100% record and head their Division, they were made to fight hard at Bristol United Reserves winning by the odd goal in three, Morgan Anthony-Robb, Dean Lapham and Josh Tamlin netted for Cosmos

Easton Cowboys A are in second place also winning 3 2 at Park Knowle

There were five different goalscorers as Avonmouth A picked up their first win of the season 7 3 at home to Bromley Heath United A, Philip Arnel, Joseph Brooks, Dillan Michael 2, Andrew Kerr, Marcel Telfer and Ashley West were the Avonmouth marksmen

Wessex Wanderers Colts new Manager Lewis Leach picked up his first win thanks to a second half strike from veteran Pete Newton-Smith against AJA Athletic, the half time score was 1 1 with Wessex's goal coming from Sean Sibanda

One game was needed in Round One and Division One side Saltford Reserves defeated Broad Plain House Reserves from the Division above 4 1, to earn a tie against Hartcliffe FC in the second round

GFA Senior Amateur Cup Round One
Muhammed Ozturk netted in the 21st minute for Redbridge against Totterdown United from the Gloucester County League, Samuel Moss doubled the lead in the 26th minute and Moss added a third in the 71st minute with the United getting a goal back

Henbury and Rockleaze Reserves travelled to Hambrook and enter the hat with a 3 1 win

Biggest win of the day was St Vallier who won 12 1 at Henbury and Rockleaze A, Nicky Martin led the scoring with a hat trick, three players begged braces, Mitchell Goldsmith, Mo Salihu and Josh Morgan-Williams, Ryan Goldsmith, Scott Budding and Boye Gimba were also on target for the Saints

The most exciting tie was at Stoke Gifford United with home team taking a 2 0 half time lead against Wessex Wanderers, in an incredible fight back in the second half three goals in six minutes from Assan Sowe, new Captain Tom Trimble and Ollie Attwood took the Wanderers into a 3 2 lead, a lead they held into the seven minutes of added time, in the penalty shoot out the Gloucestershire County League team won 5 4

Goals from Farhan Suleyman in the 26th minute and Ihab Said a minute before half time helped Phoenix NG to a 2 1 win at the Netham against Shirehampton Reserves from the Premier Combination

A 24th minute goal from Oakley Dawes helped Almondsbury Reserves to a narrow 2 1 win over a disciplined Saints OB's the Champoons of the Bristol Downs Leagje last season

In a repeat of last seasons GFA Junior Cup Final Bristol Barcelona beat Filton Athletic Reserves 2 0

Downs League club Sneyd Park beat Lawrence Weston Athletic 7 0 and Chipping Sodbury Town Reserves edged out Jamaica Bell by the odd goal in five

Easton Cowboys travelled to Oldland Abbotonians and enter the draw for the second round courtesy of a 5 0 win

Jack Stone 2, Harvey Sealey, Charlie Raymond-Derham and Marc Hertige were Southmead CS Athletic goalscorers who won 5 2 at Old Sodbury and South Gifford United Reserves lost 5 3 at Wick

Following a 3 3 draw AFC Bohemia lost 4 2 at Sporting Greyhounds on penalties

Little Stoke go through to the next round beating Pucklechurch 2 1
