FC Khalsa took the lead at Thurnby Rangers thanks to a first half strike from Sory Kaba Sherif, but strikes from Louis Finney-Neckles and Austin Enekwe turned things round for the hosts, Thurnby winning 2-1.
Sileby Town won 2-1 at home to Ellistown thanks to goals from Conner Packwood and Mitch Woodbine smoking out their visitors, Liam Watts for Ellistown, who found themselves outsmarted. It was a tight game at Highfield Rangers, where Henry Dilley gave the hosts the lead, but Dolton Taylor's 20-yard thunderbolt for visitors Hathern beat the keeper all ends up 10 minutes from time, 1-1 the final score. The remaining two games in the Prem were on Wednesday night, second half goals from Josh Burniston and Joe Harris gave Anstey Town a 2-0 win at home to Leicester Atletico, the latter making their Premier Division debut, whilst a Jake Smith hat-trick, along with goals from Charles Butler and Taylor Sharpe, gave AFC North Kilworth a 5-2 win at home to Friar Lane & Epworth, David Aluko and Solomon Agyeman for FLAE.
To Division One, where Loughborough Students Development brushed aside Sutton Bonington 4-0, James Clark scoring a hat-trick and showing some silky skills indeed, Aden Brazil scoring the other goal. A second half strike from Kieran Findley-Patel was enough for Ingles Development to win 1-0 at Mountsorrel Amateurs, whilst a brace of braces from Josh King and Jaydon Shaw gave Hinckley LRFC Development a 4-0 victory at home to Sileby Town Reserves. Christian Brannam, Caylem Hart, Luke Howitt and Piers Wheeler all found the back of the net in the second half as Loughborough Dynamo won 4-0 at Saffrom Dynamo Development. Lutterworth Athletic Reserves came from behind at home to Heather St John Reserves, Ethan Naylor giving Heather an early lead, before Alex Rhoades equalised for Lutterworth and Barnes Gladman scored the second-half winner, Lutterworth winning 2-1.
It was also 4-0 at Kirby, where Kirby Muxloe Reserves beat Dunton & Broughton United 4-0, Dylan Fox, Joe Kerins, Aaron Love and sub Theo Sjoberg the scorers. St Patricks won 5-2 away at Barrow Town, Brady Doherty, Nik Godhania, Jack Hickey. Into Division Two, and Brookside Athletic made the short trip over to Rothley and pretty much had the game sewn up by the interval, 5-1 up by the time the oranges came out, 6-1 the final score. Karl Duncan led the way with a hat-trick, Leo Lightbown scored twice, and Charlie Seager joined in the fun, Connor Wills replying for Rothley. Hinckley Borough won 4-1 at Leicester United, Cullen O'Neill, Harry Taylor, Kai Abrahams the scorers for Borough, Owen Wright for the home side.
There was a seven-goal thriller at the Spice Bazaar, with Highfield Rangers Reserves winning 4-3 away to Friar Lane & Epworth Reserves, Nevis Brehan, Raijaun Morris-Laing, Matthew Woods and sub Sahl Satter for Rangers, Isaac Bramley-Brown, Macaulley Cleaver-Hamill and Luke Daly for Lane. Meanwhile, all the goals came in the second half at both Hamilton Park and Derby Road. Firstly at Hamilton, Leicester Nirvana Reserves were edged out 2-1 by Community Football Academy, Zak Yusuf and sub Mohamed Mahir giving CFA all three points on their LSL debut, after having impressed against Senior League opposition in the County Cups in the past couple of seasons. Charvin Ambhire scored for Nirvana. At Derby Road's Drome, the home side Loughborough FC recorded a 2-1 win against Barrow Town Reserves, David Amole and Michael Simpson scoring for Luffs, Joe Butcher-Smith for Barrow. Finally, Whetstone Athletic and Magna 73 Reserves drew 1-1, the only draw in midweek outside of the Prem. Whetstone took the lead through an OG, Ellis Watson equalised for Magna.
That completes a hasty midweek ramble this week. Normal service resumes on Sunday, when we have a Ramble Round the Premier looking at the top-flight action, and Ramble Round the Divisions looking at games in Divisions One & Two. See you then.
