Midweek fixtures start
The first of the seasons mid week games took place with Hasland producing a five star display to beat Creswell Seniors 5-0 in NAPIT ONE. Killamarsh Juniors Athletic also won, beating Bolsover Town 4-2. Whilst the goals flowed in the above games not so at Doe Lea where the hosts played out a goal- less draw with Hepthorne Lane.
In TWO Grassmoor Sports drew 3-3 with Brampton Rovers JMA, Cambers scoring a couple for Sports, Brandon doing likewise for JMA. With a gale force wind behind their backs Oxcroft MW failed to find the net against Barrow Hill MC but just ninety seconds into the second period Dan Phillips put them ahead, Mick Nash doubled their advantage before Chris Cave gave Barrow Hill hope with a well taken goal. However Barrow Hill conceded a penalty ten minutes from time which Tom Goodwin duly dispatched to secure the win.
A goal from M Hunter decided the game between Hosetech Mill and Harley's/Scarlets in favour of the former whilst in SIX the game between Woodthorpe Inn and Clowne Wanderers Reserves was won for Inn by Paul Goodwin who scored the only goal of the game.
