NAPIT ONE leaders Hasland and second placed Killamarsh Juniors Athletic were both in fine form on Sunday with the former outclassing Eckington Boys, cruising to an 8-0 win. Former Bolsover Town star James Senior has an eye for goal and scored three goals in the win. Lee Clay grabbed two, Pete Stubley, Danny Robinson and Danny Claridge completing the rout. As for Killamarsh, two Adie Parsons goals plus one each from Gary Parsons, Wood and Wheelhouse saw them ease past Britannia 5-1. Clowne Wanderers moved up to third despite only drawing with Whitecotes, Smy and Carless scoring for Wanderers, Wright and Brown for Whitecotes. Bolsover Town SC are usually to be found challenging for the title however this season a relegation battle looms after a 2-2 draw with Creswell leaves them still looking for their first win of the campaign. Renishaw MW sit comfortably in mid table after goals from Barry Alberry, Johnny Senior, Stuart Grainger and a Greaves own goal earned them a 4-1 win over Hepthorne Lane.

Two of the leading contenders in TWO met and after a sensational ninety minutes top side New Whit came out on top, beating Barrow Hill MC 7-5. The goals flew in at regular intervals with five different players on target for the league leaders. Weston scored twice, Hannaby, Mitchell, Rumsey, Morton once with goal number seven handed to them by the opposition. Woodside weren’t far behind in the goal scoring stakes putting six past Ashover Vale who replied with two of their own. The match winning goals were scored by Andy Fordham and Rob Ireland, who both scored two and Rob Durose and Ben Sissons. Grassmoor Sports suffered their first defeat of the season, a Sam Harris goal handing impressive Tibshelf Town the win.

Matlock Town Wanderers have opened up a five point lead at the top of NAPIT THREE following their 2-0 win over Hopflower Athletic. Athletic battled bravely but in the end Wanderers had that extra bit of quality in their ranks as goals from Halksworth and Harper settled it. At the other end of the table Beechers Brook came mightily close to picking up their first point of the season before losing out by the odd goal in nine to West Killamarsh for whom Edge and Unwin scored twice, McCall once. Also in trouble are Creswell Black Diamond who are second from bottom after losing 4-0 to in form Dronfield Woodhouse, Austin two, Simpson and Mottram hitting the winning goals. Newton George and Dragon and AFC Bolsover had to settle with a point each as their game finished all square at 2-2, Spencer twice for Newton, Taylor likewise for Bolsover.

FOUR’s top two hit the goals trail on Sunday with leaders Pilsley recording a very impressive 6-0 win over New Whitt B and Woodthorpe Inn, second on goal, difference hammering Spartans 7-0. Pilsley’s M Shiels scored a hat trick in their win, Dillingham, Mildenhall and Warsop one goal each. For Woodthorpe Sidall two, Bower, Hanshaw, White, Walsh and Whitford’s goals beat Spartans. Dronfield Miners saw off the challenge of Newbold, Adam Hopwood, Richard Westley and Paul Moorwood netting in a 3-1 victory whilst Mark Woods scored three in his Steelmelters side’s 5-3 success at Chesterfield Arms, C White also registered a treble as Lowgates Sports Club beat Harleys Scarlets 5-2 and finally Brimington Park Colts beat AFC North Wingfield 4-1, J Reed-Aspley and A Moseley both scoring twice.

Clowne Wanderers Reserves lead the way in FIVE a 4-1 win at Palterton Sporting Club moving them three points clear. The win was Wanderers sixth in as many starts and in it Robson scored twice with Rodgers and Summers adding the other two. Newbold Sports are second despite losing 4-2 to Brampton Brewery, Ryan Hardman scoring a couple of goals for the Brewers. A place further back are North Wingfield MW who beat Brimington Utd 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Heggarty. Dunstan Rovers were easily beaten 5-0 by Gate Inn North Wingfield, Frakes, Guy, Kirk, Wallis and Wilboum hitting the winning goals as Hasland Community and Old Whittington MW shared four goals and the points to complete the action in FIVE.

In SIX Hady Villa march onwards, their 9-2 win at Barlow Kingston Rovers their seventh in seven starts. Wayne Coupe led the way with three, Craig Smedley close behind with two, Higginbottom, Stafford, Wynn and Twell bringing up the rear with one apiece. Two points behind Villa in the title race are Crown Killamarsh who won 5-3 at Holmehall 2ND, Hackford, Lester, Brown Whitehouse and an O G accounting for Crowns goals tally. Mark Henstock was on target three times in Markham Arms 5-3 win at Fidlers Rest, Manlove twice. Hasland WMC beat Furnace Hill Hurricanes 3-0 whilst Renishaw MW were 2-1 winners at Bulls Head, Clayton and Whitehead with the winning goals.

Duckmanton Community’s 4-0 win over Grassmoor Sports Reserves keeps them top of SEVEN, Mark Reynolds three goal salvo proving to be vital. Second placed Brampton Rovers Reserves entertained Glapwell Gladiators and were left stunned after strikes from Canning and Wild earned Glapwell a victory. Squadron Medical are third behind Rovers on goal difference after goals from Glover with two, Chappell and Adams saw them win 4-1 at Spartans Reserves. Clay Cross Miners and Diners concede three at Britannia Tupton but scored seven times themselves to claim the points, M Lunn scoring twice in the win. Adding to Lunn’s brace were goals from Fullwood, Heath, Herberts, Lowe and Palfreyman. Oxcroft Utd’s Rowe scored three as they beat Boot and Shoe 6-2 and Finally Hodgson and Buxton scored twice as Brimington Club beat Dronfield Town 4-2
