Last week saw the NAPIT LEAGUE fixture list badly affected by the adverse weather, fast forward seven days and the latest set of fixtures were all but decimated with just three games taking place. West End Killamarsh are going through something of a transitional period in NAPIT TWO with new players coming in after several former key players have moved on. Nevertheless they are still enjoying a decent campaign and on Sunday they played Clowne Wanderers Reserves and beat them by two goals to nil to move into mid table. In FOUR Spartans entertained relegation threatened Old Whittington Miners Welfare. Old Whittington had only won twice in ten starts prior to the game and were no match for a well organised Spartans who eased passed them by seven goals to one. The third of the three games took place at Back Lane Palterton where the hosts Palterton Sporting Club entertained Lockoford Inn in SIX. Lockoford have found the going really tough this season and they were up against it once again as Sporting beat them by five goals to two.
