ROBIN HOOD ARE REACHING NEW HEIGHTS

The Robin are reaching new heights with a new name Robertson Scaffolding FC climbing the South Shields Sunday Morning league ladder with promotion to the A division.

Last season was a successful season but it looked like they had narrowly missed out on promotion after challenging at the top throughout the season but they were given the lifeline of promotion through Lees Cleaning resigning from the league.

Steve Dean the manager is hopeful of keeping together the majority of the young squad he has assembled and is confident that his young team with a few wise heads will be able to rise to the challenge of the higher standard.

Steve Dean has already added to his squad with some promising young players like Dan Purvis, Darryll Donnelly and Callum Wade and to show his intentions he is hopeful of signing up Christie Elliott a current England Schoolboy International.

Steve Dean is particularly pleased with the sponsorship deal he has managed to acquire from Robertson Scaffolding Ltd. which is a four figure sum with includes funding for pitch fees, players accident insurance and new team kit and more.
