Robertsons squad tested to the limit

The Division cup has to be one of the best chances of silverware this season for the young Robertson Scaffolding FC. In the first round Robertsons have been drawn against Marsden Inn Rangers who were formally Grey Hen Rangers.

A number of key players could be unavailable for this important fixture through injury including Dan Purvis, Ian Hudson and Christie Elliott. It is hoped that no other players get injured playing for their Saturday teams as the Robertsons squad will surely then be tested to the limit. If Christie Elliott misses out it will be a bitter blow to both player and the team with him being in such a good vein of form.

It will show how far Robertsons have come this season with so many key places possibly missing that they should still be able to field a strong looking team.

Aaron Todd will be hoping he features in the game and goes out with a bang before his 35 day ban comes into force after his unfortunate sending off whilst playing for Jarrow Under 21s .

Robertsons have also got an interesting draw to look forward to in the next round of the Sandford Goudie cup on 26 October against Premier league outfit Whiteleas at one of the better grounds in the league Harton Welfare.
