October 2011. Player of the Month followed by Goal of the Month

Player of the Month - October:

1st Ben Weedon: Dedication of the highest caliber, Desire for the team, Cracking contribution to both himself and others he plays alongside!

2nd Sam Ager: Tenacity without comparison from first to last whistle with the 'head in where it hurts' speciality, whatever the size of player, they know sam is there!

3rd Lloyd Makhanya: Honest, hard working, resilient and passionate for the team to do well, consistent player since joining and always on time!

Goal of the Month - October:

Mark Coulson:
Against Chatteris Town - Sun 2nd October.
Sam Ager won possession back in defence and shot forward feeding Liam Mitchell running forward who slipped a perfect through pass into Mark Coulson who chipped the ball over the out coming keeper... Wonder Goal and almost sparked the comeback of all times... almost!!!!

Harry Wilson: Against Goddy Rovers - Sun 9th October.
Harry found himself in a forward position as Wratting pushed on for a winning goal, he found space and sent in a pacey shot, only for a deflection to take the ball for a corner. Harvey scotton then delivered a cracking cross over and there was Harry on the far post to nod the ball in and secure all 3 points. Vital Header....

Ben Weedon: Against Priory Parkside - Sun 23rd October
The ball was flicked over the top of the Priory defence after Coulson, Lambert and Mitchell combined with some excellent play. Ben Weedon chased and retreived the ball before he turned took it past 2 defenders before unleashing a superb right footed shot from the left hand corner of the box, the ball crashing in of the right hand upright into the top corner.... wonder goal, it had to be to beat this keeper!!!!
