Crusader AFC achieve a remarkable double by winning the County Sunday Senior Challenge Cup by beating Attenborough Cavaliers 4-1, having retained their Premier Division Championship in an unbeaten season

Crusader took a fifteenth minute lead when Scott Lichfield traversed the edge of the penalty area before firing into the bottom corner but we're rocked within a couple of minutes when they failed to clear a corner and conceded to a close range strike.
The game became equally matched before Man of the Match, Richard Whyman fired home from twelve yards, as a corner kick was deflected into his path.
Crusader kept their lead going into the break but relieved any nerves, six minutes into the new half, as Jack Reid advanced on goal and fired home from the edge of the box.
Attenborough then put the Crusader defence under strong pressure but thanks to a superb save by skipper, Jason kirk and resilient defending superbly marshalled by Whyman they held out and added to their tally, with Scott Litchfield making the result safe with a solo effort, soon after the fourth official had show that your additional minutes were to be added.
The referee soon blew the final whistle to signal ecstatic celebrations and confirm that the League had achieved the 'Double' following Hucknall Town Sunday's Success in the Sunday Trophy Final.
