Veterans League goes to Sidley United Veterans

Congratulations to Sidley United Veterans on winning the Hastings F A Veterans League for season 2021-22 gaining 21 points out of a possible 24.

There was an exciting finish to the season for the leading teams as going into their final matches, three teams - Sidley United, Battle Town and Westfield - could all take the title but a 1-1 draw between Battle Town and Westfield confirmed Sidley as champions with Battle Town taking the runners-up position.

After the last two difficult seasons when the competition has been cancelled due to the awful Covid 19 outbreak, it is good to actually complete the season.

Thank you to all the clubs for their co-operation in organising the League and to all the match officials, especially Alan Green and Stuart Ramsay, without whom matches could not be played.
