Heading Trials - U12, U11, U10 and U9
Please find attached confirmation from the FA that the City of York Girls League will be part of the ongoing Heading Trails for the 23/24 season, the trial will apply to U12, U11, U10 and U9 age groups only.

Law 11 - Offside
The offside rule applies to all 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 playing formats, there is NO OFFSIDE for 7 v 7 and 5 v 5 playing formats.

As per the FA Standard Code of Rules for Youth Football and the Laws of the Game, the ball size used for training and fixtures is dependent on the age group.

The City of York Girls Football League FA Standard Code of Rules for Youth Football have been sanctioned by North Riding County FA.

With 16 teams confirmed at the U10 age group, teams have been placed in 2 groups of 8 and will be scheduled to play 7 fixtures in September/October.
