After the break for Christmas and the New Year the fixture programme was badly disrupted by the weather with numerous games called off due to waterlogged pitches.

In the only game played in division 1, Linthwaite Athletic moved to the top of the table after a close fought 1-0 win over neighbours Slaithwaite United.

Deighton went 10 points clear at the top of division 2 with goals from Coron Rowe, Ben Stott, Kahalil Shafiq and Dante Newell (two) in a 5-3 win at Brook Motors. Dylan Brett scored all three for the Motors. Huddersfield Laud Hill travelled to Cumberworth and came away with the points in a 4-1 win with goals from Joe Muxworthy (two), Elliott Wilkinson and Liam Jennings.

Saddleworth United moved up to second place in division 3 with a 1-1 draw away at Brighouse Athletic. Shaun Roscoe scoring for Saddleworth and Sam Heppenstall-Batty scoring for Brighouse. Honley are third with goals from Joe Burnley and Richard Cooper in their 2-2 draw with neighbours Holmfirth Town. Lewis Brierley scored twice from long range freekicks to earn a point for AFC Volunteers in their 2-2 draw with Marsden. Danny Moxon, Daryl Lockwood (two) and George Bailey scored for Mount as they just squeezed past Hade Edge 4-3. Andrew Daisey (two) and debutant Finlay Allen scoring for the Edge.

In reserve division 1 Berry Brow moved up to second in the table with a 2-1 win over third placed Dalton Dynamos with goals from Kyle Forde and Jamal Bent with Karl Gledhill scoring for Dalton. Matthew Shaw, Brenton Williams and Jayden Hunte all scored twice as Deighton ran out 6-3 winners over Heywood Irish Centre. Reece Julien (two) and Luke Stead scoring for Heywoods.

Richard Hayton and Richard Botchway scored for Brook Motors as they moved up to third place in reserve division 2 with a 2-1 win at Cumberworth A.

Kirkheaton Rovers went top of reserve division 3 after their 4-2 win over Berry Brow B with a goal from Lewis Crank and a hattrick from debutant Danny Murray. Lawal Lawal scored both goals for the Brow. Stephen Brook (two) and Ryan Kennedy scored as Almondbury Woolpack beat Honley 3-1 with Ben Dewhirst scoring a consolation for Honley.

In the West Riding County Challenge Trophy Netherton entertained Kirkheaton Rovers and went through to the fifth-round on penalties 3-2. After 90 minutes it was 2-2, Alex Vickerman and Michael Carter scoring for Netherton. Nathan Goddard and Gavin Armitage scored for Kirkheaton.

In the Sheffield Junior Challenge Cup Scissett had an excellent 2-0 win away at High Green Veterans from the Wragg Football League to go through to the quarterfinals. Kirkburton are also through to the quarterfinals after Doncaster City Vikings Blue forfeited the fixture.

Holmbridge progressed through to the quarterfinals of the Sheffield Association Challenge Cup with a fine team performance in their 4-1 win over Swinton Athletic Reserves from the Sheffield County Senior League. On the scoresheet for the Bridge were Oliver Willetts (two), Seb Allen and Robert Parr.
