Nathan Eastwood scored twice to make it 40 goals for the season as division 1 leaders Heywood Irish Centre won 5-1 at home to Holmbridge. Thomas Mellor, Kieron Mayall and Stephen Greer also scored for Heywood’s.

Kirkburton sprang one of the shocks of the day by knocking Berry Brow out of the Huddersfield FA Challenge Cup 3-1 with a goal from Troy Toulcher and a brace from Jack Goring. Wayne Shooter scored a consolation for the Brow.

District League Report December 4th Once again the weather decimated the fixture programme and very few games were played. In division 2 Netherton made good use of their sloping pitch to beat Lepton Highlanders 7-1.

District League Report November 27th The wintry weather almost wiped out the cup and league fixtures but there were a couple of clubs that managed to get their games on.
