FC Braunstone Victoria go back to the top of table.

A midweek 0-8 victory at Saffron Dynamo, where Rick Taylor hit 5 and Darren Jepson -3, moved FC Braunstone Victoria back to the top of table. At the weekend Rick Taylor added further to his impressive total, and looks odds on for the golden boot, in the 0-2 away win at Cottesmore Amateurs as Braunstone kept Earl Shilton Albion at bay in 2nd place. T

he Albion have 2 games in hand and remain 2 points behind after they came way from a tricky fixture at Ellistown as 1-3 victors, their 4th away win on the spin.

Holwell Sports, unbeaten in their last 6 starts, consolidated 3rd spot with a 1-1 home draw against Hathern. They could come under pressure from Narborough and Littlethorpe who stayed on course for a potential 3rd place finish with a 3-2 defeat of Ashby Ivanhoe.

Lutterworth Town completed their fixtures with a rousing 7-0 defeat of Anstey Nomads after their leading scorer, Jamie Munday, finished off with an hat trick and Spencer Booton a brace.
