The weather 10, the City Goldsmith league 3, moved the number of games postponed on the day, mainly through the weather, to 93, giving Fixture Secretary Mervyn Miles a right headache.

However, the top 3 played, with leaders Barrow Town maintaining their 2 point advantage over Thurmaston Town with a 4-2 defeat of 3rd placed Ibstock United, opening a 9 point gap between Thurmaston and Ibstock, although Ibstock have 3 games in hand of Thurmaston. Rob Pitman was the main architect of the Barrow win, netting a hat trick, with Matt Boyles hitting the 4th after the Town had been held to a 2-2 draw at half time, Simon Goodwin and Josh Lovett on target for the Utd as they surrendered their 11 match unbeaten run.

Thurmaston made in 11 without defeat, the last 3 without conceding a goal, with a 3-0 defeat of Ratby Sports after being 1 up at the break through Jamie Wood. Wayne Slawson and Liam Kyle netted the 2nd half killers that gave them 4 wins on the spin.

Bottom placed Lutterworth Athletic compressed the lower end of the table, making the lower 6 teams covered by 6 points, with their 1st away win of the season, 0-3 at Leicestershire Constabulary after Danny Herrin and Craig Johnson gave them a 0-2 half time lead. Lee James put the game beyond doubt with a solo 2nd half goal as the Constabulary lowered their colours for the 1st time in 5 starts.
