Barrow Town retain the championship with 4 games to go.

Holders Ellistown were put out of the competition by Holwell Sports after Leigh Fox scored a goal in each half in the 2-1 victory. They will meet St Andrews who needed extra time for their 3-2 victory over Anstey Nomads, Josh Richards scoring his 2nd of the game in extra time.

League

Barrow Town have retained the championship with 4 games still to go after they won at Leicestershire Constabulary and Blaby and Whetstone Athletic were held to a draw at Thurmaston Town. Barrow eased into a 0-3 lead, but the Constabulary, searching for a result to return them to the top 6, fought back level only to be undone in the last 5 minutes, to lose 3-4, Dave Coleman finished with a hat trick to go level at the top of the golden boot table.

Birstall Utd retained 2nd spot with a 0-1 away win at Anstey Town whilst Blaby and Whetstone, 5 points off the pace with 2 games in hand, had to settle for their 2nd consecutive away draw, 1-1 at Thurmaston.

St Andrews completed a good week with a 1-1 home draw with Sileby Town that kept them in the top 6 whilst Earl Shilton Albion moved into mid table respectability with 2 wins in 48 hours. In midweek they sent Highfield Rangers home with a 4-1 defeat and at the weekend were 2-0 up after 6 minutes against Kirby Muxloe to finish with a 2nd win on the spin, 2-1.

In midweek Ratby Sports posted a 4-1 defeat of Anstey Town, which kept them out of the bottom 2, whilst Lutterworth Athletic moved off the bottom, to be replaced by Highfield Rangers, who they defeated 5-1, after Luke Pontin notched a couple.
