The title race may go down to the wire.

The title race may go down to the wire, to split the top 3, but Earl Shilton Albion went a long way to make sure that the title is in their hands after they posted their 3rd win on the spin, 0-1 at challengers FC Braunstone Victoria, Daz Foster netted the only goal in the 2nd half.

Holwell Sports closed in on Braunstone, following a 5-2 midweek victory over Narborough and Littlethorpe and a 1-3 away win at Bardon Hill. That kept Ellistown at bay, who won 2-3 at Saffron Dynamo in midweek but dropped 2 points in a 1-1 draw at Huncote Sports and Social to dent their chances of a top 3 finish.

Anstey Nomads moved out of the bottom 3 with their 2nd successive win, 4-1 over Ashby Ivanhoe, after trailing 0-1 at the break.
