Ellistown continue their push for the championship.

Ellistown continued their push for the championship with a midweek 3-0 defeat of Bardon Hill Sports and a week end 1-4 away win at Anstey Nomads where George Himan continued his recent goal spree with another double.

The `Town remain 10 points better off than their nearest opponents, Saffron Dynamo, who kept pace with a 4-2 midweek defeat of Anstey Nomads, where leading scorer Paul Danks moved onto 20 for the season with a brace, and a weekend 1-0 victory over Hathern.

Ashby Ivanhoe pulled themselves back in to contention for the runner up spot with a 0-1 away win at Bardon Hill Sports and Holwell Sports made it 4 wins on the spin after Leigh Fox scored an hat trick in a 1-3 away win at Ravenstone.

A double from Michael Reeves kept Asfordby Amateurs, with games in hand, just on the promotion fringe with a 1-5 away win at Huncote Sports and Social and opened up a 4 points gap to the remainder of the table led by Hathern.

Lutterworth Town ended a run of 2 defeats with a 0-3 away win at Narborough and Littlethorpe after Jamie Munday bagged a couple and a goal in each half helped Dunton and Broughton Rangers forget the memory of 2 successive 6-0 defeats, with a 2-1 victory over bottom placed FC Khalsa.
