Barrow Town make it 21 victories for the season.

A 9-0 defeat of Downes Sports, pushed champions elect, Barrow Town, through the 100 goals for threshold, with a goal difference of +73, 4 of their top shooters in the running for the league?s golden boot, Scott McClennan and Tom Alsop both enhanced their challenge with hat tricks in the 21st victory of the season.

With 4 games left, only Ibstock Utd can equal the 68 points Barrow have already amassed, and they have to make up the 48 goals difference after they posted their 5th win on the spin, 1-0 over Ratby Sports. A double from Beto Semedo helped Anstey Town in their quest for 3rd spot with a 1-3 victory at Constabulary, who with 1 game left are under threat of relegation. Anstey will have to hold off Thurmaston Town, who were sidelined, and Birstall Utd, who came away from St Andrew?s Canal Street as 0-1 victors, for the 3rd sponsored position.

At the other end of the table, mathematically any team below 32 points could go down with last season?s promoted champions, Lutterworth Athletic, the current bottom placed, 2 points adrift, despite a 1-1 draw with Highfield Rangers.

Rothley Imps moved closer to the relegation safety threshold with a 1-0 defeat of Blaby and Whetstone Athletic.
