Ibstock Utd and Anstey Town remain the only real threat to Barrow Town retaining the Goldsmith championship, and they play at Anstey next week, a draw will allow Ibstock to take the runners up spot and be available if the wheels fall off at Barrow.

Lee Henson netted his 20th of the season, to move 4 clear at the top of the golden boot leader board, as Barrow had to settle for a 2-2 draw against neighbours Rothley Imps, who have pulled themselves away from relegation with 7 points out of the last 12.

An hat trick from Martin Emery eased Ibstock, to their 3rd win on the spin, past Highfield Rangers 3-2 and a brace from Ryan Brightmore posted the Town?s 1st league win in 3 starts, 3-2 over Ratby Sports.

Thurmaston Town had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Constabulary after snatching a 2nd half equaliser and Kirby Muxloe, outsiders to finish in the top 6, upset the form book with a 2-0 defeat of Birstall Utd, who stay 4th.

A Jordan West hat trick helped Sileby Town to their 5th win on the spin, 7-1 over Aylestone Park, who drop into the 2nd bottom relegation slot, and St Andrews eased to mid table respectability with a 0-1 away win at Blaby and Whetstone Athletic.

Downes Sports moved out of the bottom 2, with a 4-0 defeat of Lutterworth Athletic, after Tom Clarke posted an hat trick in the relegation 6 pointer.
