The INGLES RES CITY GOLDSMITH title challenge suffered a setback when they were surprisingly beaten 3-1 at FC GNG RES, who prior to the game were bottom of the table with just 1 point. The game was even at half time with Mark Etherington on target for the visitors but a brace from Hardeep Singh added to by Devan Thakrer, ended the Ingles run and rewarded FC GNG with their 1st win of the season.
BARLESTONE ST GILES RES also slipped back in the title race, going down 1-3 at home to COTTESMORE AMATEURS RES after putting together a run of 3 straight wins. Strikes from Ben Dawson (2) and Tom Atkins kept the visitors in control as they turned round 1-2 up Scott Colclough on target for the home side.
The HATHERN DEV SQUAD entertained SILEBY TOWN RES in the Presidents Trophy and went down 0-3 after Luke Denham hit a 2nd half brace added to by Dean Clark for the visitors.
