In the CITY GOLDSMITH competition INGLES opened up the competition with the 1st defeat of the season for current leaders SAFFRON DYNAMO RES in any competition, 3-2 at Little Haw Lane. The table stands with both teams on 20 points, but the Dynamo have a game in hand and a superior goal difference. Ingles clearly won the 1st half 3-1, with a brace from Mark Etherington added to by Kornel Squedke. Dynamo brought the score back to 1-1 but despite goals from Jamie Mitchell and Wes Johnson, Ingles won the day.
BARLESTONE ST GILES RES join the top 2 on 20 points after a 0-4 away win at HATHERN DEV SQUAD who made a fist of before going under. The Giles led 0-1 at the break and finished with a brace of goals from Lewis Hopewell added to by Scott Colclough and Tom Watson
