CITY GOLDSMITH leaders, SAFFRON DYNAMO, continued their quest for the title with a 1-0 defeat of COTTESMORE AMATEURS RES at their alternative venue of the 3G at Brockington College after Wes Johnson netted the lone 2nd half winner.
DESFORD DEV SQUAD ended a run of 2 defeats on the spin with a 3-1 victory over bottom placed FC GNG RES but they had to come from behind after Paven Johal had given the visitors the lead midway through the 1st half. It appeared that GNG would go in at the break in front but Lochlan Murray restored parity on the stroke of half time. Jordan McIntyre gave Desford the advantage with 10 to go and Callum Bloxham repeated the 1st half trick and wrapped up the points on the stroke of full time.
