Aylestone champs, Bardon runners up

Bardon Hill Sports went into their final game of the season knowing that they must hit double figures against Melton Mowbray to snatch the title away from Aylestone Park but they only managed a 2-6 victory and had to settle for 2nd place. Desford, who have tired with so many games in recent weeks, will finish 3rd, the final sponsored place.
