ALLEXTON & NEW PARKS maintained the 5 point gap at the top of the CITY GOLDSMITH COMBINATION LEAGUE with a 2-5 away win, their 3rd league wion on the spin, over 3rd placed BARLESTONE ST GILE RES. The game was level at half time 1-1 but the Parks found that extra gear to rattle in goals from Luke Higgins -2, Jamie Richardson-2 and substitute Shane Brown. Giles replied through Josh Johnson and Callum Shearsby as they slipped to their 2nd successive defeat.
SAFFRON DYNAMO RES, with a game in hand, put bottom placed FC GNG RES to the sword in a switched venue of Brockington College 3g, 8-0 , taking their foot off after being 6-0 up at half time. The Dynamo made it 3 wins on the spin as Jamie Mitchell struck 4 from mid field added to by Scott Bradden, Nick Smith, Lewis Towe and Sam Ward
