Blaby and Whetstone make themselves favourites for second spot.

With Barrow Town already crowned champions, the race was on to settle the further 2 sponsored places. Barrow remain 10 points clear after a 1-1 draw with Kirby Muxloe whilst Blaby and Whetstone made themselves favourites, with 2 wins on the spin, a midweek 0-3 victory at Rothley Imps after Lyndon Seal notched a double and a 3-1 Saturday victory over Leicestershire Constabulary that carried them into 2nd spot, 3 points better off than Birstall Utd. with 2 games left.

The remaining interest is at the bottom where 2 up and 2 down will apply despite the re-organisation of the league.

Highfield Rangers, currently bottom, look set to occupy a bottom 2 spot, despite a midweek 3-3 draw with champions Barrow Town, after they went down to Leicester Fencing finalist?s, St Andrews 2-4, Tim Glenn warming up for the final with a hat trick.

14th placed Lutterworth Athletic are making a fist of it, taking 13 from the possible last 15, after Gary Watkins netted a brace in their 0-3 away win at Rothley Imps but Ratby Sports, their nearest opponents, made life more difficult as they posted their 10th point from the last 12, with a 4-1 victory over Ibstock Utd, who could get drawn into the equation, after Jake Panetta hit a 1st half double.

Earl Shilton Albion secured mid table security with a 2-1 defeat of Sileby Town.
