Unbeaten GOLD division leaders SAFFRON DYNAMO celebrated their return to KING Park by posting their 3rd win on the spin, hitting bottom and pointless visitors HATHERN DEV SQUAD 11-0. The Dynamo eased to an 8-0 half time lead and further increased their goal difference to +38 with goals from Wes Johnson 5;Scott Braden, James Mangan, Jamie Mitchell; Jake Smith; Nick Smith and Sam Ward.
SILEBY TOWN RES moved in 1 point behind the Dynamo and above their visitors after a 3-2 defeat of BARLESTONE ST GILES RES, who were in the morning’s 2nd place. Ref EDGAR BROWN received special mention for an outstanding display. Unbeaten in their last 3starts Barlestone slipped 3-0 behind, after being level at half time, as Michal Noga, Thomas Stirk and Piers Wheeler seemingly put Sileby in control. But the Giles are made of sterner stuff and made a fist of a fight back with goals from Ryan DeFreitas and Leighton Grewcock but just had a shortfall for a point.
ALLEXTON & NEW PARKS made it 4 without defeat, in all competitions, with a 2-0 defeat of COTTESMORE AMATEURS after 2nd half goals from Pele Molyneaux and sub Jamie Richardson sent the Rutlanders to their 2nd successive defeat.
Former Leaders INGLES came up short at home as they failed to win in their last 3 starts with a 1-2 defeat against DESFORD DEV SQUAD who went home with all 3 points. Sam Mott gave the hosts a shout of a chance with a 1st half goal but strikes by Jimmy Costello and Dan Portch, either side of half time, gave the visitors their 2nd successive victory.
