SAFFRON DYANMO RES returned to head the GOLDSMITH DIVISION with a 1-6 away win at HATHERN DEV SQUAD after they took control of the game and led 1-3 at the break. Sam Gee netted the home team consolation as the Dynamo had Jake Smith on target with a double, James Mangan likewise, and James Mitchell and Sam Towe adding to the score sheet .
BARLESTONE ST GILE RES moved in to 2nd place, on goal difference, after travelling well to Rutland and returning with 3 points from a 0-4 victory at COTTESMORE AMATEURS RES. It was a fairly even first half which the visitors just edged and then found another gear as Ben Bates, Scott Colclough, Lewis Hopwell and Russ Schulz found the net.
The mornings leaders, INGLES RES, came unstuck at home 4-5 to SILEBY TOWN RES despite an hat trick from Kornel Squedke and a further goal from Ash Fisher as they chased the game 2-4 down at the break. At the death the visitors just had enough to end a run of 2 defeats with a brace of goals from Jo Slater added to by Brandon Hands, Sam Hill and Michael Ward.
