Week Ending 23rd December

The CITY GOLDSMITH div 1 concluded 2017 with a lone game at DESFORD DEV SQUAD who played host to a very strong INGLES RES. The Dev squad, full of confidence after 2 straight wins got off to the best possible start when Will Hughes gave them the lead within a minute. Mark Etherington restored parity before half time so that the teams turned round square. Recent returnee Ellis Benjamin put the hosts back in front but that lasted just 2 minutes as Luke Allard netted the equaliser to give the visitors a share in the points and a top 3 spot to celebrate out the old year.
